This Privacy Policy explains how ParkCore Inc.(“wnted,” “we,” “us”), which operates wnted, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the wnted iOS and Android apps, the wnted.com website, and related services (together, the “Services”).
1Scope
This policy applies to information we collect:
- Through the apps and the website;
- Through communications with you, such as email and support requests;
- From partners you authorize, for example when you verify your identity or link a funding source.
It does not apply to merchants’ websites you open from wnted or to other third-party services; their own privacy policies govern those.
2What We Collect
A.Information you give us
- Account details. Name, email address, phone number, username, and a password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email those services share; with Sign in with Apple you may hide your email address. If you sign up with your phone number, we also ask for your date of birth to confirm you are 18 or older.
- Profile. Display name, avatar, campus or college and Greek life (both optional), time zone, and notification preferences.
- Wishlist content. Product links you paste or share into wnted (including through the share sheet on iOS and Android), the items you save, the lists you create, the goals you pin, notes and target dates, and which lists you choose to make public or share with friends.
- Discover activity. The products you swipe on, like, pass, save, or dismiss, and your answers to the style questions at onboarding. We use these to build a private taste profile that ranks products for you. It is never shared with merchants or advertisers.
- Social connections. Friends you add, invites you send, invite codes you redeem, and contributions you choose to make toward a friend’s goal.
- Referrals. If you invite friends, which invite a friend joined from, the steps they complete toward a referral reward (for example starting a savings plan and payments clearing), and the gift-card credit you earn. Referral credit is gift-card credit, not cash.
- Support requests. Your message and the request type (for example a refund).
B.Money features (optional)
Nothing below is collected unless you choose to turn on payments.
- Identity verification. wnted does not collect identity documents or a Social Security number, and has no identity-verification form. When you link a bank account or debit card, our payment partner, AptPay, receives your name, contact details and address to create your payment identity, and screens you against sanctions and watchlists. That information is stored with AptPay; wnted receives the screening result. If AptPay ever requires a document check, it asks you directly in its own hosted flow, and wnted does not receive the documents.
- Bank accounts. Linked through AptPay’s hosted flow. wnted receives an account token and masked details, never your online-banking credentials.
- Debit cards. Entered into a secure form run by Very Good Security. The card number is tokenized before it reaches us: wnted keeps only a payment token, the expiry date and the last four digits, and never receives or stores the full card number or security code. The billing ZIP code you enter is passed to our payment partner to verify the card.
- Payments and gift-card value. Plan amounts and schedules, transactions, the value on your wnted gift card (a closed-loop card redeemable only through wnted for retailer gift cards or, where the retailer’s card is not available, a Visa prepaid virtual card; not for cash), refunds, and your gift-card redemptions and their delivery details.
C.Information collected automatically
- Device and app data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, IP address, crash and error diagnostics, and a push-notification token if you allow notifications.
- Activity timing. When you last used the app, so reminders are only sent when they are relevant, and a short record of changes to wishlists you share with friends, so the people you share with can get a summary.
- Usage analytics, only with your consent. If you turn analytics on in Settings → Privacy, we record events such as screens viewed and features used, tied to a random identifier. Analytics are first-party. We use no advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we neither request the iOS tracking permission nor use the Android advertising ID, because we do not track you.
- Account security events. Separately from analytics, we keep a record of events such as sign-ups and sign-ins, with your account identifier and email address, to protect your account and prevent fraud.
3Contacts, Face ID & Notifications
The app asks for three device permissions. Each is optional, the app works without it, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.
Contacts — finding friends
To find friends who already use wnted, you can allow access to your contacts. Phone numbers are normalized and hashed on your device with a wnted-specific salt before anything leaves your phone. Only the hashes are sent; they are compared against the hashed numbers of existing wnted users, and hashes used for matching are discarded. When you invite a contact, we keep the hash of that one number so we can credit your invite if they join. We never upload names, email addresses, or raw phone numbers from your contacts, and we never message your contacts. An invite is only ever sent by you, from your phone’s Messages app or share sheet, one person at a time, with the message shown to you first.
Biometric unlock — locking money screens
You can require biometric confirmation to open money screens, authorize a payment, or show a gift-card code — Face ID or Touch ID on iOS, fingerprint or face unlock on Android. Matching happens entirely on your device using Apple’s or Google’s system APIs. wnted never receives biometric data.
Notifications
Used for things you asked to hear about: payments, goals reached, gift cards, price changes on saved items, friend and sharing activity, support replies, and — only if you opt in — reminders and referral updates. Each type has its own switch in Settings → Notifications.
4How We Use Information
- To run the Services: create and secure your account, sync your wishlists and goals across devices, and show you what you saved.
- To personalize Discover using your taste profile.
- To provide the optional money features: funding-source linking, scheduled payments toward goals, gift-card value, refunds, and gift-card redemption.
- To connect you with friends you choose, deliver invites you send, and attribute referrals.
- To run the referral program: record which invite a friend joined from, track their qualifying steps, and issue gift-card credit.
- To send transactional notifications and, only if you opt in, reminders and marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
- To respond to support, refund, and withdrawal requests.
- To keep the Services safe: prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations, including those that apply to our payment partners.
- To measure and improve the app, using analytics you have consented to.
We do not use financial information for advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Branch receives no name, email or contacts, and is not used for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps.
8Retention & Deleting Your Account
- Account and wishlist data is kept while your account is active.
- Delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, wishlists, goals, friends, Discover history, and taste profile, and signs you out everywhere. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Delete your account from the web: request deletion at wnted.com/delete-account without installing the app, or email support@wnted.com. We verify the request against the account’s registered email or phone number before acting on it.
- Retention of financial records. We keep records of your transactions, account activity and identity verification for as long as financial-services and anti-money-laundering law requires — at least five years after your account is closed — even if you delete your account. Our payment and banking partners keep their own records under the laws that apply to them. Retained records are used only for legal and regulatory compliance, resolving disputes, and preventing fraud.
- Contact hashes used for matching are never stored; the hash of a contact you invite is kept with that invite so the referral can be credited. Support requests are kept for up to two years. Analytics are pseudonymous and kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
You can also email support@wnted.com to request deletion, a copy of your data, or a correction.
9Your Choices
- Analytics: on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy.
- Notifications: per-type switches in Settings → Notifications, and in your device settings.
- Contacts and biometrics: grant or revoke in your device settings; the app keeps working without them.
- Public and shared lists: make any list private again from the list itself.
- Funding sources: unlink a bank or card from Settings → Payment methods, or from the goal it funds.
- Marketing email: unsubscribe link in every message.
10Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, encrypted on-device storage of session credentials, salted password hashing, card tokenization, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and money features require you to be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, delete, or correct it, to opt out of “sales” or “sharing” (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. For California residents, the categories we collect are identifiers, account and profile information, commercial information (products saved and goals), internet activity (usage), device information, and — only if you enable money features — financial and identity-verification information. Exercise your rights in the app or by emailing legal@wnted.com; we may need to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
13International Users
The Services are operated from the United States and intended for U.S. residents. If you use them from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
14Changes to This Policy
We will post changes here and update the dates above. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
